The development is centrally located forming a new street edge on the Main Street of Roundwood village, affording an opportunity to make a very positive and cohesive architectural contribution to the village streetscape and community. With aspect over the reservoir to the south of the site the scheme respects the natural features of the unique location.

Two Street front blocks containing ground floor commercial units with Apartments over form a new civic space creating an intimate gathering and meeting place in a new Village Green. Permeable landscape design will allow pedestrian circulation from the main street to the waters edge by villagers and visitors alike.

The proposed 59 residential units follow the sites’ natural topography and retain some familiar architectural forms in a traditional idiom but with an overarching contemporary style.
